I just want to start off by saying just like any service no service is free. Cell phone, utility, rent, car note, etc they not gonna give it to us free no matter what but I paid them. Got paid. I study and got my diploma through Job Corps. It was the best decision I could have made at that point and it worked out well cause working a cyber security degree. Now I encourage anyone to apply themselves and make the best of your experience.

Hi I sit here and read the negative review and in my personal experience none of that is true because I have a financial problem and personal problems. The school called me almost a month when I missed a payment. They called and I talk them about what was going on. They were polite, understanding what was going on, If you're looking to get a highschool diploma this is the best choice. This school is the best choice. They give you an opportunity to get your highschool diploma If you made a bad decision to quit school. Now I am only 60% percent done but when I am finished I will give my final review but right now they're AWESOME. Best decision so far that I have made since I have been working on my highschool diploma. It made me feel wonderful about myself. I finally get a chance for that bad choice that I made. I can make it right.

I had completed 30% of my courses when I wasn't able to pay the monthly fees. They then kept adding on the ridiculous charges of late payments never received which put my account in the negative balance of over 2000$ then they completely ERASED MY ACCOUNT and when I emailed them the proof of the screenshots of the bill and my account being nowhere, they stopped responding all together. YES THIS IS A SCAM AND THESE PEOPLE ARE THE DEVIL!

This program is a great deal for someone who is trying to transfer semester credits midyear. Most online schools only take full-year transfer credit. My daughter's transcript was evaluated so that she could complete the second semester of classes for her sophomore year in high school. All of her high school credits transferred correctly to James Madison, and she was able to complete five courses remotely as we traveled the US. Since James Madison is regionally accredited, our local high school approved the courses prior to enrollment. The technology (student portal) for the school worked consistently, including some virtual tutoring sessions for Algebra. The content was of appropriate difficulty for a high school course, somewhat challenging. If you are looking for a self-paced, independent study program, James Madison may be for you.

The negatives: Since this is fully remote coursework, students spend most of their time reading from a computer and watching videos independently. Pacing is left up to each student, who takes one class at a time, or multiple courses only if the full high school program is paid in advance. Nearly all of the course grades are taken from multiple-choice tests at the end of chapters, with only a couple of short projects (slide shows) thrown in. There is very little interaction between students and teachers, just test feedback, so students have to assess their understanding independently throughout the entire course without any formative assessment or feedback to check their understanding.

I was also surprised to find that my daughter completed an entire semester of high school English without writing so much as a paragraph for evaluation. She finished a semester of Spanish instruction without speaking Spanish at all. Most troubling, though, were the multiple misspellings and errors on the tests, which were especially frustrating to see in a high school English course. As a school technology specialist, I assure you that there are many ways that this program could be made more interactive to help students through the learning process.

(Video) I will complete your all online courses of James Madison High School answers (JMHS answers) 100%

I was told they offered a class that was the make or break deal for me during the "trial" period. Only after this period did they reveal that they actually didn't offer the class. Now they want to charge me hundreds of dollars. This was on recorded phone calls! I want a full refund; I didn't complete any lessons and don't plan on ever using their services again. I will remove this if they can make this right with me. If it's up they're still playing games and no you should not trust this business with your money as so far they have fed me false information and I only got the truth after my trial period ended.

It left a bad taste in my mouth and I've been disappointed/down about it 'til now where I am asking for them to make this right and the customer service rep I just chatted with was less than helpful about it-only referencing the one phone call that dropped not the other calls that connected fully where their live rep over the recorded phone call actually told me they offered the class! I would have ended it during my trial period for another school if they were upfront that they didn't offer this class I wanted in the first place. They pretend online to be professional but watch out-they will blame you in a heartbeat for THEIR errors and try to scam you out of money you do not actually owe them.

My daughter has had nothing but problems with this school. She enrolled for 12th grade hoping to finish school by December 2020. Her transcript from her other school have been emailed twice and physically mailed twice since September 2020. I called five times and got a different excuse as to why they had not been received. Finally on my sixth call I was told they were received December 13 and would be scanned in by the end the week. Two weeks later they still aren't scanned in. I was told by customer service she would check on it and call back.

The next day I received a messaging saying the transcripts were ripped and they had to request them AGAIN. I called AGAIN and asked if they had been requested again as soon as they realized they were ripped and told no, they just requested them when I called. This is absolutely unacceptable. I paid $1000 up front and I am being told I will only be receiving $474.25 refund. She has only been able to take one class since September. They have the transcripts that were emailed. They don't want to put them in the student portal because I am to receive a $500 credit when they do. DO NOT ENROLL IN THIS SCHOOL. IT'S ALL ABOUT MONEY!!!

No one answering the phones. No one answers an email. No one calls you back. Paid for my daughter to attend for two years, now we for months cannot get her official transcript sent to the junior college of her choice. Thousands of dollars and years later.

I finished the schooling, paid off the tuition and everything needed for the diploma. It's been 3 weeks and I still haven't received the diploma and customer service doesn't help. They say allow more time. I've called them countless times to fix this. One point I was in graduation status, but a day after they took me off and said I just completed the courses.

I'm so frustrated with JMHS. They make you pay right away while giving very little info. My son sent his transcripts and then it took over a month for JMHS to review them. Once done, they are telling us my son needs to take way more classes than necessary. He started with JMSH in October, right after starting his senior year in a local school. His GPA was a little over 3.5 but JMHS isn't giving him the correct transfer credits and says there is no way they can make any changes. Their customer support is snippy and not helpful at all. What a joke! Do NOT attend this school.
